COERVER® Sydney North Shore Senior Girls Development Academy (Feb-Aug Program)

We’re back! In partnership with adidas® “The World’s No.1 Soccer Skills Teaching Method" will continue its journey to re-revolutionise junior / youth football development in 2018 with our first ever selection-based COERVER® Sydney North Shore Development Academy.

What is it?

The COERVER® Sydney North Shore Development Academy is a globally recognised professionally run football program with a heavy technical focus, designed to maximise each players development – both technically and physiologically. The focus of our professionally trained COERVER® Coaches being to encourage and develop creative, confident, intelligent and technically proficient players – whilst maximising the fun and enjoyment of each players footballing experience. The Program will also focus on the ‘person’ – with hidden learnings inside the COERVER® method that teach life skills such as good sportsmanship, good attitude, respect, teamwork, commitment and a 'never give up' approach that build essential character traits these players will carry through the rest of their lives. All of this inspired by the world renowned COERVER® Pyramid of Player Development and COERVER® Code which has been successfully delivered and evolved over three decades in every corner of the globe!

Who is it for?

All players must be assessed in advance through a COERVER® Coaching Program or collaboration to determine their eligibility for the COERVER® Sydney North Shore Development Academy. Being a selection based program the purpose is to stretch and push the players forward as a collective group. As such, it is important that each player is of a similar mindset and ability in order to maximise each players development in this program. Players will in turn be invited personally to register for the COERVER® Sydney North Shore Development Academy once they have been identified and assessed.

What are the two Program options available?

All COERVER® Sydney North Shore Development Academy players have the opportunity to choose from a February to August 30-Hour Program or an April to August 20-Hour Program. All players registered for the full February to August Program will engage in Pre, Mid and Post Season Testing and Evaluation. All players registered for the 20-Hour Program will be tested and evaluated only at the Mid and Post Season points. All players however will be provided extensive support to help assist them on achieving their developmental goals come season end. Naturally, those who opt for the full 30-Hour Program have a far greater opportunity to develop as the coaching staff will know where they are at from the beginning of the program, know what they want to achieve, and have a longer period to work on this with the player – which in this case includes Pre-Season – in our opinion the most critical period in a player’s development.

When and where is it?

The COERVER® Sydney North Shore Development Academy will run out of Norman Griffiths Oval on Tuesday evenings in 2018 from February to August. Allocated time slots for each age group will be confirmed closer to the commencement of the program. All regular weekly Tuesday evening sessions will be 75-minutes in duration – with the possibility of delivering 120-minute ‘Super Sessions’ at key points in the season (this will be determined based on the condition and development of the players throughout the season).

Anticipated Regular Tuesday Time Slots (TBC): All Age Groups U11-U16 5:30pm-6:45pm

Full Feb-Aug Program Price: $630 ($550 + $80 for full adidas® Training Kit)

PLEASE NOTE: Players are expected to have their own ball for this particular program. If a ball is required, COERVER® Coaching Sydney North Shore are happy to provide adidas® training balls at discounted prices.
