Coerver Coaching North Perth Conducts Inaugural Holiday Clinic
Over 35 boys and girls aged between 6- 15 enjoyed four days of Coerver Coaching during the recent school holidays. The program was based on the world recognised Coerver Coaching Pyramid of Player Development.
Coerver Coaching ACT Instructor Tom Crossley who over saw the program said “It was great to see the participants embrace the new style of coaching given it was their first taste of a technical football skills program instead of a team based session. It took them a while to get familiar with the drills and specific topic content, but they were able to quickly pick it up and then it was just like any Coerver Coaching session I have run before”.
Coerver North Perth Licensee and Director Rob McCullagh said “It is a great credit to the program that such a successful clinic could be delivered to such a diverse range of ages and skill levels. We would especially like to thank Tom Crossley from Coerver (R) Coaching ACT for coming over to conduct the clinic, ensuring the players received the same quality of coaching enjoyed by players in the more established regions. This is a practice the licensee will continue to follow to ensure quality standards whilst getting up to speed themselves. Stay tuned for information on additional clinics and activities being planned for over the summer break.”
